We established "our" classroom rules the first week of school. They are reviewed consistently and students know what is expected of them in the classroom.

Our Bear Behavior Chart:
An individual behavior system to promote self monitoring
and a sense of personal responsibility.
When a student's behavior may be distracting others on the carpet, they are invited to "take a break". It is not punitive and students continue to learn from the chair.
The class earns "warm fuzzies" as recognition for their good behavior. When the jar is full, we vote on a class prize! The most popular reward this year has been bring your favorite stuffed animal to school.
